The story of my trip around the world to train, teach and compete in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and other grappling arts.

Check out my new, sweet travel route map

I have been looking for a way to plot a route on a map for this website, and found out that Google Maps have a feature called “My Maps” that allows me to do exactly that. So I made a really cool, new travel map on my itinerary page. Check it out!

    Hey Graugart,

If you are going to Panama, you may want to swing by Medellin Colombia. Todd Mergolis (sp?) who is a Lloyd Irivn black belt has a gym there. A guy on Sherdog is on his way to train there as well. MedellinLiving.com is a cool blog about a guy who lived in Colombia. Medellin is called The City of Eternal Spring because it is tropical, but at a high elevation, so has an almost constant 72 degree temperature all year around. Medellin is also a pretty safe city now, with a murder rate similar to Atlanata here in the US.

Beautiful girls, great weather, constant warmth, and a legitimate BJJ instructor. What more could you want?

Also, probably get in some great boxing there if you wanted.
